On yer bike!! ;-)

I am here, having a very nice cup of coffee before taking a deep breath and walking up the hill!

Or should I say cycling.

This is Fat Lemons Cafe and you can't miss it if you are down in Ticklemore Street,Totnes.

It's so yellow!
But then so was the day!
I do believe that Devon has missed out Spring.. but sprung right into summer!

Mind you there was a little bit of purple thrown in for good contrast!
A reminder that it really is spring.

It appears that Fat Lemons is under new ownership since I last visited and very friendly people they are too!

But I must away!

I have a date with the market!
And naturally I find myself here...I could get to this special place with my eyes shut!!
But I'd be a bit daft keeping them shut...wouldn't I?!
Ones eyes need to be sooooo wide open upon arrival!

And of course the stall is alive ...so happy and jolly!
(Just like the owner!)
;-)

Here's your eye candy, girls!

Thank you Amanda!

Yes, I made a small purchase...but I will keep you guessing on that one...because...
Tis time for a bit of...

This 'n That!

Except ...oh dear is that the bell for my lessons ?

You are going to have to wait for part two of the Totnes Experience!

It's greedy to have too much of a good thing all in one go!

Have a great weekend!

Parks... and bags of all sorts!

On a very gloomy Saturday morning, we caught the train to Exmouth.

There's not a lot in Exmouth and it was all a bit..well...dead!
But there is a very pleasant park.
I do like a nice park!
I think that's because, in Newton Abbot, we do have lovely parks and I spent a lot of my childhood playing in them!
;-)
We strolled through the park, which was all ready and raring to go...although everything is so late this year!

It was neat and tidy, if nothing else!

It will be lovely in a few weeks , I'm sure.

Yesterday , it was back to some crafting and I started to make a few hanging scented bags with some of my favourite vintage fabrics...

But I ran out of Lavender!

So I turned to my box of fibres...and played around with these..

Which you may well remember as...

I made them on long paper bags and so had a lot of fun loading them up...
...and slipping things in at the end of the paper bag... the fibres being used as 'pulls'.
Hopefully the children will love them!
That done, I have acquired a lot of bakers twine and so I sorted this into
5 yard lengths...

Finally, a 'thank you' to Tracey (Funky Monkey) for sending me a 'thank you' pressy!

This CK mug arrived last week along with some Green and Black's Chocolate..which err..umm..sadly can't be shown!

And a thank you to Tris for getting me the cushion from Past Times!

I've found just the place for it in my teaching room...one has to teach the children all about all things shabby chic and vintage you know!

Hope you all have a lovely week!

;-)
