We're taking a break very soon and ... we're off to one of our favourite counties, Shropshire.
Farmhouse accommodation...which means a good, hearty breakfast.. as dear DH won't tolerate this 'continental ****' as he calls it! We've stayed at the same farmhouse a few times and it never fails to disappoint.
I've spent the morning planning, although often the best days are spent when you don't plan, I know. I just wanted to be sure that everything we want to do, fits into our time away!!
And so... if anyone can recommend ...coffee shops, tea rooms, pubs, antiques/flea markets, junk shops, places of historical interest, gardens,village etc... here are the places on my list so far (including the journey there and back!) :
Chepstow ; Monmouth ; Hay On Wye ; Clun; Craven Arms ; Church Stretton; Ludlow ; Leominster (and the 'black and white trail'); Shrewsbury ; Wroxeter ; Nantwich (a bit off my map but a place that I've never visited!)

Hopefully, I won't even need to take a blogging break because at the weekend, my dear DH bought me a pressy... I became the proud owner of ....an Apple iphone! So I can still keep up with what everyone else is doing as well!
